OPHELIA DENG

Ophelia Deng is a documentarian and multimedia journalist, with a Master's in Journalism degree from Northwestern University. She is skilled in producing, directing, writing, editing, and on-air presentation.

 

Her passion for video storytelling has taken her through five years of higher education in journalism starting at Boston University later Northwestern, and from being a producing director in China to producing news for Chicago’s local channel.

Ophelia Deng believes in the aesthetic and tableau of reality - each moment is imbued with the potential for revelation, each scene a testament to the power of the human experience. Her belief drives her into documentary and non-fiction storytelling.
